Set PC rates and weekly pricing schedules
Assigning an enabled rate profile lets new sessions use that profile's pricing where it applies. Existing sessions keep their saved pricing. Use the calculator to check the result before changing your shop's rates.

Customer rates and software plans differ
Settings > Pricing controls what your shop charges customers for PC time. This is separate from the subscription or license you pay for CafeCentro.
These instructions cover Cloud Timer's Charging rates and PC type rate assignment controls. Some pricing features require a supported server version. Check the version notice shown beside the feature in your portal.
Create a charging rate profile
A rate profile groups the pricing settings you want to reuse. Give it a name staff can recognize, such as Regular or VIP, and set its hourly fallback. The fallback supplies the hourly rate when a weekly schedule does not specify one.
Preset rows use the minutes=price format shown in the editor. Treat them as preset helpers; ongoing billing uses the hourly fallback or weekly schedule. Check the calculator and the actual session workflow instead of assuming a preset replaces every hourly charge.
- Open Settings > Pricing and find Charging rates.
- Choose New profile, enter a profile name, and set the hourly fallback.
- Add any preset rows your shop needs and review the Enabled setting.
- Save the profile, then assign it to the intended PC type.
Set weekly rates and the store timezone
Enable Weekly schedule when rates should vary by day and hour. Set the store timezone before painting the grid, since a scheduled hour should correspond to the shop's local clock.
Select a paint rate and apply it to the intended day and hour cells. Blank cells use the profile's hourly fallback. On a small screen, scroll the board horizontally to reach later hours. Review every changed block before saving.
A saved session retains its pricing schedule after profile edits. That schedule may itself include rate changes during the session; retaining it does not mean every session has one fixed rate for its entire duration.
Does a profile override the PC type hourly rate?
Yes, where the enabled assigned profile applies, new sessions use its pricing instead of the PC type's hourly fallback. In PC type rate assignment, choose the intended profile and review the confirmation before applying it.
Choose Hourly fallback only to use the PC type's hourly rate without an assigned profile. Existing sessions keep their current pricing, so verify the change with a new test session.
Check the calculator before accepting payment
Use Money test, Minutes test, and Start time to preview your pricing. Try an ordinary hour and a time close to a scheduled rate change. The Time and Cost actions answer different questions: how much time a budget buys, and what a duration costs.
Review both charge rounding and final cash rounding. They affect different parts of the result. A short test session gives staff a final check that the selected PC type, profile, and rounding settings agree with the shop's price list.
